Excellent work, tidy job, completed quick, no fuss, very happy

Saw PD Roofing advertisement board in Bideford, contacted him via WhatsApp, immediately messaged me back and I explained my situation and sent photos. He called me back and booked me in for the next day for a free quotation. Quoted and was able to get me booked in the very next day. Work completed less than 48 hours from my initial call. Worked on my chimney and missing tiles from my roof even re cemented a loose garden cobble for no extra charge. He even offered me advice on other building repairs. His conduct was professional and he his communication I could not fault! I cannot recommend PD enough and will definitely be using him again in the future. Thank you PD!!! 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Phil is a force of nature and true to his word. He came, checked out the problem, quoted there and then and booked us in. As the weather was going to turn a bit wet he came earlier with the whole gang, up scaffolding and started the work. Took photos the whole way through, explained what's happening and finished in the early evening. I've had other roofers come in the months previous to this and some didnt even get back to us. I saw his ad and very glad I did. The work was to replace a horrible rotten flat roof over our bedroom bay window with new wooden supports, new rubberised roof which has a guarantee of 30 years! I can't remember what its called but better than felt. He did a lot of extra things like replacing tiles he'd notice were broken etc., for nothing. I thoughly recommend him and the team.

Quick response and came to look at and sort some roof and guttering repairs for me. Gave good advice and carried out the work to a great standard. Thank you to Phil and his team.

Just had PD Roofing sort out some leaks in my roof. They've done a good job and would use again. Would definitely recommend.

Ten out of ten for this builder. What can I say. Good quote, excellent work, Phil's team are all polite, friendly, tidy workers. After finishing the roof and porch he said it would look so much better with the bare concrete window ledges painted. So painted them white to finish the job properly to his own satisfaction, no extra charge. Would definitely have them back to do other work.

After being let down by a previous "builder" to re do our garden we decided to use P D Roofing and Building to do the work.Our garden was overgrown which they cleared in one day.The walls were repaired and repainted to a high standard,the ground bricked and copping tiles put on top of the walls and painted in Plymouth Grey.Work started on 29 7 2025 and finished 9 8 2025.PD Roofing and Buildings work is of a very high standard,any mess was cleared up and the team Phil Phil and John were easy to talk with and answered any questions we asked.We did offer payments during the work but they only accepted full payment after completion of work.Rose and i are so pleased we are using them again for more work next year.We have no hesitation in recomending P D Roofing and Building to anyone.David and Rose.

Would thoroughly recommend the services of this Company,having experienced first hand the kindness,integrity,reliability,and ability to problem solve of Phil who works for this Company. Travelling home on a very long journey back from the Lee Abbey retreat centre near Lynton,we had git as far as Newton Bridge,when my friend had driven over a tree branch in the road,which then git stuck underneath her vehicle.This affected her steering and had to stop immediately. After ringing the AA,(what a trial that was.) Pauline knocked on the door of the little cottage by the lane where we stopped to ask for the area post code, requested by the AA. We then had to just sit and wait,we had no idea how long.Fortunately there were 3 of us,and it was daylight and we were not in any danger.That said we had a long drive back to Colchester in Essex ahead of us.We were thankful of the enormous kindness we had received from our stay at Lee Abbey,and reflected on the Amazing Christian hearts of those that run the whole place. Then to be met by another guardian Angel in the form of Phil. He saw us broken down and spotted us straight away.After stopping safely,he immediately opened his window to see if we were OK.He then parked up,and did not hesitate to see what he could do.We told him we had called the AA and just had to wait.Instead of just saying OK and driving off,he was worried how long we would be stuck there.We said we could not have avoided the tree branch,due to oncoming traffic and the bend in the road prior to stopping.However we could also not remove it or get under the vehicle due to severe back pain, to see if we could remove it ourselves.One of us tried but it was stuck and didn't want to risk wrenching it out and causing damage to the vehicle. After explaining our situation Phil assured us he was qualified enough to have a look and see.The edge of the road was quite wet due to recent rainfall.However without hesitation Phil got underneath to assess the situation. He assured us that he could see exactly where the branch was stuck and with another fork in the branch, that was how it got wedged under the car.Phil said he could see what the problem was,and could safely remove it.So with the owners permission he did. We were amazed by the capability he showed,and willingness to just get on with it and sort the problem out,with a successful outcome,without danger to himself,my friends vehicle,all 3 of us and other road users. We could not have been in better hands. We just gave him a big hug,and we're totally relieved we could continue safely. Phil would not take any offer of payment to show our appreciation.He absolutely insisted he did not need any reward. I cannot tell you the how thankful we were,to have met Phil and in a world of such sadness,and endless bad news,Phil literally to us was a guardian Angel. He was absolutely genuine we could tell by his whole manner and approach.What a gentleman. So for all of you people fortunate enough to know Phil, and also use his services and company all I can say is we think you are all extremely blessed and fortunate.
